Re: Msg Returned with GIMP via TP
I'm using Linux Distribution openSUSE 12.1 KDE. The "/home/<username>/tmp" is a Symlink which points to "/tmp". I went into the GIMP preferences and set it to directly point to "/tmp", and that didn't solve the issue; then I set the TMPDIR to "/tmp", and that ...

Re: Msg Returned with GIMP via TP
Here is the tp plug-in for GIMP dialog;
Despite there are no settings for the Page/Paper Size,
that has not mattered - I've even printed Bank Checks and Envelopes:

Re: Msg Returned with GIMP via TP
Here's a screen shot of the message returned;
note that as best as I can tell, the files still print correctly;
I removed the USERNAME from the screen-shot:
The Plug-in Dialog is in the next post.

Re: Msg Returned with GIMP via TP
Hello, this message has not been observed by us or been reported by user users yet. Where does the message appear - on the terminal (only if you start gimp from command line) or in a window? On a Window/Dialog.. When is it shown - when you open the print dialog or when you actually print? Once I se...

Re: turboprint daemon not starting on openSUSE 12.1
I have just upgraded to openSUSE 12.1 from 11.4. Prior to the upgrade everything was working fine, but now the tpdaemon doesn't start on boot. System Services list the tpdeamon as enabled. Checking the status: linux-094j:# /etc/init.d/tpdaemon status TurboPrint daemon is not running linux-094j: # T...

Msg Returned with GIMP via TP
I'm getting a repetitive message when printing via TurboPrint plug-in for GIMP, but the file still prints. What's weird is the same message is repeated several times on a long dialog on the monitor: *************************************************************************** (ICON HERE) TurboPrint Me...

Re: Canon, Cleans heads OK but won't print, status OK
There are a couple of differences here in my case... ...but nothing happens at the printer (not even a flashing light to indicate communication). My light does blink a couple of times, indicating communication with the iP1800, but nothing prints (except for the Nozzle Pattern Check). The one thing t...

I'm having the same problems. My Printer is Canon PIMXA ip1800, and am using it on openSUSE 11.2 (KDE 4.4.0 (release 2)); The Ink Level Features work - the Print Nozzle Test printed, but that is all I have been able to get printed - when I try to print, I see the printer light blink a couple of time...
