Re: Duplex printing
Thank you. That certainly explains why it only offers manual printing. Manual is pretty archaic...I'll look forward to the next update. Do you have an estimate when it might be available?

Re: Very slow printing in color
Wireless. Large 2 story house. However, even printing from the portable computer right next to the printer, it is VERY slow.
Slow printing only when color or bar code involved. Otherwise, it seems about normal.
Thanks!

Duplex printing
I have turboPrint 2.0 printing on Linux 12.04 wirelessly and with air print. Using TurboPrint on my Acer portable I am only able to get manual duplex printing. If I switch over to my Apple IPad or IPhone, the printer does automatic duplex printing as advertised. Starts from the last page, waits to d...

Very slow printing in color
I have a 6 month old Canon MX 512. After waiting a few months for a printer driver, it is now printing wirelessly and with good color. However, when printing a bar code (i.e. an airline boarding pass) or a page with lots of color, the sprint speed slows to a crawl and it takes forever. It acts as th...

New canon MX-512
My OS is Ubuntu 12.04. I have a new Canon MX-512 printer. The printer is a new model and Turboprint does not have a driver for this printer, so there is no driver for the MX-512 Turbo print setup Canon driver list. I found a driver elsewhere online, downloaded it and installed it in Ubuntu. The prin...

Further to your last suggested fix. I have confirmed that Wireless LAN is enabled and active. Wired is disabled and inactive. I printed out a page that shows: MAC 00:1E:8F:71:E9:CE IPv4 IP address: 192.168.1.3 default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 connection mode: Infrastructure En...

Sorry!
I've been traveling the past week. I tried your latest suggestion. No change, still the same message...printer not connected or turned off.

printer off or not connected
I changed the items you suggested in Turbo Print. It still says it is off or not connected.
I have connected the Pixma MX-860 to the router using the push button method and that is working.
Anything else I can try?
