When I create a new profile and use ColorMunki to create the icc do I set the colorspace in the PrintFab printer dialogue to sRGB or aRGB or is this irrelevant until the printing with the completed profile. Also should I use Type 2 or type 4 icc profiles I use OSX 10.11. Also when importing an icc p...

Re: Epson Stylus Pro 4000
... Real borderless printing is only possible with roll paper, with cut sheet media the printer can print up to the left / right edges of the paper but not top / bottom (especially there is a large margin at the bottom). I seem to have a doubling of the margin which by default is .30cm right/left/t...

Epson Stylus Pro 4000
I have some time to try out the Printfab rip as it's almost holiday time, my 4000 has a paper tray feed that supports Premium Luster (I print a lot on this cut sheet media and manual feeding is a pain) using the PF rip I could only choose Glossy as the media type but receive a forbidden media type, ...

Re: Dye sublimation printers
Thank you, they are the workhorse of many photographers and I have two but profiles are usually limited to the manufacturers and in my opinion they never quite make the grade in both colour fidelity and overall contrast and I bet would benefit from a rip like PrintFab.

Epson 7600/9600
I am testing the PrintFab 2 rip to drive my 9600 using the 24in 7600 driver until support for the 9600 arrives. Initial results are very promising I use very heavy matte papers and notices what I would describe as a mottling (orange peel effect) across a dark print like the ink was puddling and dryi...
