I followed the paths you listed to find those files on my system. I'm lost as to your final comment. The files are on the system for both installations, however, I did install GIMP 2.7 in a way that allows it to co-exist with 2.6 on the system, something that is a bit out of the ordinary. I'm guessi...

Second installation of Gimp does not use turboprint
I am running both Gimp 2.6 and Gimp 2.7 on Ubuntu 9.10. I follows some special instructions in order that 2.6 and 2.7 could coexist on my 9.10 setup, and notice that the menu option for Turboprint is only available with the 2.6 installation of Gimp. I know that I have to copy script files from their...

Update_Upgrade policy
If I have the 2.1 studio version of TP, am I entitled to the update that fixes the printer daemon start-up issue in Ubuntu 9.04?
What is your update policy
Thanks.

Turboprint and Scribus
I am using a recent version of TurboPrint (where can I find the version number?). It works fine with almost all my applications (Ubuntu 9.04). However, I was trying to use Scribus to lay out some photos on a page and then print them. In Gimp, I can click File --> Turboprint to start the process. In ...

I see that my version of TP, 2.07-1 has been upgraded. What is the TP upgrade policy, and what is the correct procedure to download/install the upgraded version?
Thanks.

Upgraded to 2.07 but what version is running on my system?
I had run 1x of Turboprint, downloaded the trial of 2.x (sorry, don't remember what version exactly) in November of '08, then, discovered when I came back to use the application this weekend that I had never purchased the full version. So, I promptly pulled out my plastic and ordered up the Pro vers...

Re: TP2 and Canon i960
Did you try configuring your printer? I'm no expert, but received a message similar to yours until I opened up TurboPrint Control and added the printer. Don't know if this was the source of the problem, but I also have the i960 and am delighted to finally be able to use it to get beautiful prints fr...

Printer Profiles??
The following is shown in a paragraph describing the features of the TP Studio product: With an individual color profile from our profiling service, color reproduction becomes more accurate. It also guarantees good print quality with third-party paper and ink cartridges. Where is this profiling serv...

Ubuntu 8.04 - can't make turboprint work
Have properly installed Turboprint, configured my Canon i960. When I go to print, the dialog that has always appeared comes up, my Canon is not shown, nor is a tp0 printer choice. How do I get Ubuntu to recognize that I have Turboprint installed and allow me to choose that printer? Other printers th...
