Sometimes printer entries get "confused" within CUPS.

Please try to remove and add the printer again from TurboPrint Setup / command line "xtpsetup".

Hello Yann, one license is sufficient. PrintFab should be installed on the G5 client computer - only this way you will get the PrintFab print dialogs from your application (with automatic printer sharing you get "generic" print dialogs that don't offer all options). The printer should be added with ...

This sounds like a problem that existed with earlier versions of the CUPS printing system - as long as no data were sent to the printer the error status "media tray empty" was reported by CUPS (and also reported in TurboPrint Config). Which version of CUPS are you using - e.g. shown in a web browser...

Please check the print command in the GIMP print dialog. There should be no "-o raw" option, e.g. change

lp -d tp0 -o raw

into

lp -d tp0

Which printer are you using?

Duplex printing is supported, direct usb or wireless connection should not matter - it the printer prints at all, it should also print duplex. The default setting can be changed in TurboPrint Config / command line "xtpconfig": page "paper", drop down list "duplex". In some applications duplex printi...

Can you print from TurboPrint Config / command line "xtpconfig", e.g. page "toolbox", button "nozzle check"? If that works, also try the "test page" (test & status page).

Adjustments also work when printing to a network printer. The changes are not visible in the preview. If you modify saturation and gamma from the application, it is necessary to set the option "User Color" from "Off" to "User" (you can also change the default setting in TurboPrint Config / xtpconfig...

The message is not a TurboPrint message - it comes from the CUPS printing system. CUPS uses its own set of passwords which are managed by the "lppasswd" command. Running "setup" is not required for registering. Either run sudo xtpsetup and select the key file using the button "Register", then "Insta...

In GIMP you have to choose the "Postscript Level 2" printer driver and import the PPD file of the TurboPrint driver. The print command must be edited - remove the "-o raw" option.

Details can be found in the TurboPrint manual:

The LED blinks if the printer receives data that are not printer command codes.

You could send the last section of the file /var/log/turboprint_cups.log, i.e. the part between "new print job" and "end of print job".
