Re: Color correction doesn't work
Ok, maybe I had different expectations about the range of correction: with Magenta +50 there is a small difference, enough to be satisfied.
Is this how it is supposed to work?

Re: Color correction doesn't work
Hi, thanks for your support. I am printing from Gimp to a Canon Pixma-Pro 10s. Yesterday I was trying to correct Magenta via the Turboprint/ControCenter/Configure button, today I realized that maybe I should have used the "Turboprint Config" button you find under the printer settings "...

Color correction doesn't work
Hello All, my monitor is calibrated, and the printer profiled by Zedonet. After the summer break I had to replace a lot of cartridges for my Pixma Pro 10s, and although now it prints well, I wanted to check the color balance with a test image. It turned out to have less "red" than the imag...

Canon Pro10S floods print with ink
Hello All,
my Canon Pixma Pro 10s has been sitting all summer, and now - sometimes but not always - it floods the paper with ink.
I tried the cleaning menu, but it still does.
Should I try DEEP cleaning?
thanks for your advice,
ciao,
-Gian

Re: Pixma Pro10s, BW printing
in which way was your print on Epson Premium Glossy "horrible" - just the bronzing or also other problems? Probably it is just the bronzing that gave a strange, unnatural cast on the image, although it was very evident only with incident light. I set: Media: Fineart Matte Cartridge: Gloss...

Pixma Pro10s, BW printing
hello All, I have no experience at BW printing, and would like to know if you have any recommendation on papers, settings or tweaks. So far I tried an Epson Archival matte paper, with gloss optimizer off, and setting for Canon matte, with good result. The same picture on Epson Premium Glossy paper l...

Re: Canon Pixma Pro 10s, setting default page
hello, and thanks for your reply. I prepare my RAW files in Darktable. It would be nice to be able to print directly from there, but I do not know how DT manages resizing from the original image to the pixels that will effectively compose the printout, given the paper size and margins, and consequen...

Epson paper ICC profile for Canon Pixma Pro 10s
hello All, my old Epson printer died suddenly, and I still have a lot of Epson premium glossy paper. The new printer is a Canon Pixma Pro 10s, though. Is there a way to use that paper's ICC profile on Ubuntu 16.04? I thought I'd find a way to load it in TurboPrint, but could not sort it out. thanks ...

Canon Pixma Pro 10s, setting default page
hello All, my new Canon Pixma Pro 10s has just arrived, and I updated my Studio license to the latest and greatest. I run Ubuntu 16.04, and saved in the printer properties the paper format 4x6, however, when I print it comes up an A4 page. No matter how many times I corrected the value, it doesn't s...

Re: new Ubuntu 16.04 install keeps asking for license
Zedonet,
thanks for your kind reply.
I resorted to purchase an updated key, and now it does not bog me anymore...
I know it's silly, but couldn't wait to test the new printer.
Now I have other issues, but I'll start a new thread.

new Ubuntu 16.04 install keeps asking for license
Dear Sirs,
I have reinstalled my system, and Turboprint Studio 1.36-1 keeps asking for the license key which I have already entered.
am I missing something?
thanks,
-Gian

Re: Sharpening
so when I tick the box "borderless print" in the Gimp-turboprint driver, Gimp will adjust the scaling to match? Will it scale it twice, or just do it once? I wonder if Gimp would be so clever to scale the unsharpened image, and then apply sharpening. Or, if ghostscript has sharpening setti...
