Hello Stewart,

it looks like there is a cups problem on your system. There is a known problem with a recent cups 1.3.6 update. This problem is fixed with the latest cups update to 1.3.9. Please check if any CUPS updates are available on your system.

Hello, please check if all settings in TurboPrint are still set to default values. You could just install another printer instance in the TurboPrint Control Center without changing any settings and print a demo page. Is this page printed okay? Do nozzle check prints look okay? Are magenta and blue p...

Hello, please excuse the delay! No general problem with PrintFab & QuarkXPress 8.0 is known. It would be helpful if you could send the PrintFab log file after trying to print from QuarkXPress: - Open "Applications" / "Utilities" / "Console" - Click on "Logs&quo...

Hello,

probably you used a different network backend in TurboPrint 1.x (Socket or LPD) than in TurboPrint 2.x (bjnp). The "bjnp" backend allows status reports over network.

Could you please check which version of bjnp is installed on your computer:

execute

/usr/lib/cups/backend/bjnp -v

Hello, the log files look mostly okay except "Installing color space ISO Coated v2 (ECI) failed" (however, this is no problem if you are printing RGB photos) and "pixmap_class::open: can't read magic header" which appears before a page is printed - this means that the TurboPrint ...

Hello,

thank you for your suggestion!

This could be implemented in a future version of TurboPrint (there might be also a way to implement it now using existing CUPS / Linux mechanisms - e.g. splitting print jobs automatically and sending them to a "printer pool").

Hello, TurboPrint version 1 used the previous versions of GDK and GTK. These libraries are no longer included in current Linux distributions. The new version 2 of TurboPrint now depends on the current versions of GDK and GTK. So I suggest to install and use TurboPrint 2. Additionally you get many ne...

Hello, what means "can't read the code because there is none"? Probably your printer needs cartridges with a chip, so it will not work without it. Some refilled cartridges are delivered without that chip and require the chip of the empty original cartridge. This has nothing to do with the ...

normally the script should warn but should not exit with an error - you can try to uncomment (add a # in front of) the line and move the script back to

thank you for your feedback!
This will be fixed in the next TurboPrint release.

As a workaround you could specify the device uri from command line using
