Hello, if you can print to your printserver with gutenprint it should also work with TurboPrint using the same CUPS URI beh_/1/0/30/socket://PS-B48E0B.lan:9100 or socket://PS-B48E0B.lan:9100 You can also try Connection: Network printer Server: PS-B48E0B.lan Printer: lp0 Please also look into /var/lo...

Note: Problem with print settings being ignored when printing from GIMP was present in CUPS 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 and is fixed in 1.2.3

Additional Note: Another problem with colors being modified by GIMP's (or actually Gutenprint's) Postscript Level 2 driver is fixed in Gutenprint 5.0.0rc2.

Hi! 1. Your TurboPrint license can only be used with Linux - it is possible to install Linux on your Mac but this is probably not what you want. 2. A "cross upgrade" TurboPrint / Linux => PrintFab 2 Home / Mac costs EUR 39,-. This upgrade is not available in our online shop - please order ...

I don't think that the error "Local authentication certificate not found!" is related to TurboPrint - this error message is reported in forums for all kinds of drivers. You can try two things: 1. Create a CUPSD certificate (as reported by another customer) with the command : 'openssl req -...

Hello,

one possible explanation is that the parallel port is blocked while the printer is connected via USB to the print server.

If this is not the reason please inspect the log files /var/log/cups/error_log and /var/log/turboprint_cups.log - you may post the section from the last print job.

Hello, the error message "cannot execute binary file" looks like if you had downloaded the wrong version - e.g. TurboPrint for 64bit or PPC on a 32bit Linux (even if your processor is 64bit, a 32bit linux requires the 32bit TurboPrint download "turboprint-1.94-4.i386.rpm" or &quo...

Hello, currently only the automatic duplexer unit is supported. Manual duplexing is planned for a future TurboPrint version. This will be possible with locally connected printers and network printers. A solution for now would be to print odd pages first, then even pages (possible e.g. with OpenOffic...

Sometimes printer entries get "confused" within CUPS.

Please try to remove and add the printer again from TurboPrint Setup / command line "xtpsetup".
