"permission denied" errors may occur if you installed using "./setup" instead of "sudo ./setup". Can you post the error messages you got?

You can start these programs also from command line:

xtpsetup

for TurboPrint Setup (adding new printers; root login required) and

xtpconfig

for TurboPrint Config (changing printer driver default settings, e.g. print quality, paper size & type, ...).

TurboPrint is a printer driver, scanner and fax are not supported. No solution is known for the fax, the scanner might work with a SANE driver - see
