Problems with printing on Canon MF3110

Post by jan0510 » Fri Mar 09, 2012 9:40 pm

Hi,
I've installed TP on Linux Ubuntu in order to print over the network from Ubuntu to Canon muli-function MF3110 installed on Windows machine with Win XP. On the downloading page I asked about this particular printer. The answer was with different printer, namely - Canon (MG8100-series-TO-USB). Nevertheless I've successfully installed TP, but couldn't find my printer on the list, so I decide to choose the one from the downloading answer. Test page is loading on Canon printer but after a quite long time it disappeared without printing. It looks like the driver is wrong. Is there any chance to have a right driver?

Regards

Hello,

the Canon MF3110 printer is not supported by TurboPrint (for a list of supported printers see http://www.turboprint.info/printers.html).

The field "Your printer(s)" on our the download page is only for statistics - the download package is always the same.

That's a pity. Thank you anyway.
