Auto Duplex - how should it work?

Hi!
I am just starting to use TurboPrint for my Canon iP4300 printer with Ubuntu (Lubuntu) 12.04.
So far - so good...

The Automatic Duplex printing works, but I am a bit surprised by how it seems to work, once duplex has been enabled:
Even single-sheet print jobs go through the duplex routine - print/pause/backfeed/pause/pseudoprint/dump.

I went back to XP & checked how it works with the original Canon driver:
Multi-sheet jobs go through the above routine, single-sheet jobs just print & dump to tray (much quicker), without any special setting.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Hello,

currently you have to disable the Duplex option for quick single page prints. Maybe we can this improve in a future TurboPrint version.
