Hello,

I see:

Code: Select all

# netstat -a -n -p

Aktive Internetverbindungen (Server und stehende Verbindungen)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5552 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1011/tprintdaemon
that tprintdaemon is binding on all interfaces. I don't want it to do that. Is there a possibility to have tprintdaemon only bind to the loopback interface (127.0.0.1)?

Thanks,
*t (a happy user since many years)

Hello tpo,

sorry, this is not possible. The daemon can also forward ink and printer status to other computers in your network, so network printing is more comfortable. If you do not want this behaviour you may configure your firewall to block such requests from outside.
