I am not sure if this topic is already solved.

If "gszedo" is present in /usr/bin and can be properly executed, printing should work without problems.

To verify that this is the case, please open a terminal window and enter the command

gszedo --help

The version of gszedo and some usage instructions should be displayed in the terminal window.

I have discovered that gszedo requires libidn.so.11 but my system has libidn.so.12 installed. A symlink created to libidn.s0.12 called libidn.so.11 allows gszedo to run now.

When running gszedo -h I see

Code: Select all

gszedo: Symbol `stringprep_saslprep' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking
This needs to be fixed in gszedo by yourselves to provide a permanent fix.

Thank you - I didn't think of this problem :| which is known but already fixed in the current version TurboPrint 2.47.
