Just trying to do some comparisons between this and Gutenprint.

Is it a known issue that the trial doesn't have controls for R B inks?

This is correct:

You can adjust Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow in TurboPrint Config.

However, the conversion from CMYK to more color channels is fixed (e.g. Red, Blue for the R1800 or light cyan, light magenta for other photo printers).

There is a dialog to adjust l-M l-C but that doesn't operate for blue/red.

I did think I'd seen a screen shot where these changed to blue/red for that printer. But I could well be getting that confused with gutenprint.

Sorry, I was taking about our Linux driver "TurboPrint". PrintFab and TurboPrint are in the same forum so I got confused.

You are right, you can adjust the usage of light colors. This makes sense as it is possible to save ink by doing so (however there is more grain).

We chose not to make Red & Blue adjustable - there would be no real advantage.

Needs to be mentioned in the manual as it looks like something is broken otherwise.

Thanks for the swift replies.
