Problem printing 5x7 pictures

I'm running TP in demo mode from Linux printing to a Canon Pixma Pro-100. I have a picture I resized to 5x7 in Gimp. I put 5x7 photo paper in the automatic feed. When I hit print and use TP, I manually set the printout to 5x7 and landscape. After hitting print, it "jams" and does not print. If I do the same thing but leave it as A4 paper but insert 5x7, it prints but not the entire picture.

How can I print specific pictures in a specific size? IE. 5x7's on 5x7 paper? 8x10 on 8x10 paper etc? It seems as though the only thing that prints is A4.

Hello,

please excuse the late answer. Of course the printer and also the TurboPrint driver should support printing on 5x7" paper.

Does the printer jam if you select 5x7" borderless in the TurboPrint driver settings and feed correctly if you insert the same 5x7" sheet but select "A4" in the driver?

You can also send the log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log after a "jam" (please email to mail at zedonet dot de).

Good to hear that :D .
Maybe this is something that could be helpful for other customers - what was the reason for the "jam"?

Honestly... I dont remember. It was a user error. Now I select 5x7 borderless and it prints fine.

I ended up buying the Studio version. Thank you for creating this for Linux. Works perfect!
