TurboPrint & PrintFab

I purchased TurboPrint upgrade (for a second year, with a new printer) in mid-February. I thought I followed the instructions for downloading and installing all required files. When I open TurboPrint Control to set up my new printer and click the + button, the correct printer name is displayed in the Choose Port field, but when I then go on to select the driver, my printer model is not listed, and the list of available models is very short. I suspect that something about my installation of the TP Control application as wrong, but I haven't been able to figure out what.

Conditions:
OS = Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa
PC = Dell XPS 15 9570
Printer - Brother MFC-J491DW / MFC J497DW

What do I need to do to see the full list of printer models?

Hello,

the list of TurboPrint drivers for Brother printers is not very long, so this may already be the full ist.

Unfortunately TurboPrint does not support the printer model Brother MFC-J491DW - the problem is that we can't get technical information from Brother for their inkjet printers and multifunction devices.
