A beta version of TurboPrint for ARM processor architecture is now available. The beta was compiled for armhf architecture (hardware floating point) on Raspberry Pi / Raspian and can be used freely until October 1, 2014.

Download link: ftp://ftp.zedonet.com/tp2/arm/turboprin ... .ARMhf.tgz

On systems without GUI you can install and use TurboPrint also from command line - install with "setup.sh", printer setup with "xtpsetup", printer configuration with "xptconfig".

Your feedback is welcome!

Wow, wish I'd checked back at the Turbo print forums more recently ..

Set this up on the raspberry pi, then added the printer on turbo print on my laptop...

Feedback: The ink counters don't seem right - only CMYK, whereas this printer has a lot more, especially when I connect the laptop directly.
Feedback2: Spooler says "Unable to send data to printer".

There is nothing on the pi in /var/log/turboprint/turboprint.log

Printer: Canon Pixma Pro 9000II.

Will have a further play with this when I get time, possibly I should just be sharing the printer on the pi with samba and having the driver on the laptop, am bit printer-fatigued for the moment !

Hi,

I install drivers on RPi B to work as a Print Server.
Printer : Canon i905D

First printing test has freezed printer. Seems to be OK now.

Frustrated to not be able to have Ink visibility.

I can send any logs / dump you want / need.

What happens at the end of the month ? It will not work anymore :)

Big thanks for your work

Hi fromzy,

we will provide a new beta version within the next weeks that will run for another beta period.

How did you try checking ink status? Ink levels should be shown directly on the server via GUI menus of the TurboPrint Monitor. You should also be able to see the ink levels from a Linux client in TurboPrint Monitor.
