I just updated my system and now everytime I try to print anything, I get a 1320 error. Can someone please tell me what this error means and how to correct what ever is wrong?

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. I have just installed turboprint on the system and it never worked.
I have Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II on a Suse 13.1 system

the error in the /var/log/cups/error_log is very cryptic

Code: Select all

W [02/Sep/2014:14:18:18 -0400] [Job 592] Printer error!
the /var/log/turboprint/print.log does not show any errors

Hello,

I am not sure were the error code is displayed - if it is shown in TurboPrint Monitor, it is probably an error code reported by the printer

The printer error code 1320 means "Flat path print preparation incomplete" and should only occur if you load the paper from the front (TurboPrint feed selection "Manual Feed") and don't follow the Canon instructions, e.g. to open the extension at the back of the printer ("Press the Front Feed Support button to open the Front Feed Support"):
