Colour Profiles created using Datacolor product.
HI. I'm confused because the Turboprint manual says I can use my own spectrometer (in my case a Spyderprint SR) to produce color profiles yet on the page where you order a Zedonet profile it says your profiles are non - standard. Am I right in thinking then that Turboprint does not work with standard ICC profiles?
Re: Colour Profiles created using Datacolor product.
Hello,
you can import standard ICC profiles into TurboPrint.
Only our profiling service uses a proprietary color profile format ("dynamic profile") that is more flexible - users can adjust parameters like illumination, usage of black (UCR) and light cyan/magenta that would be fixed in an ICC profile.

Thanks for the quick response. I have profilled 4 differing paper/ink combo's (Mostly Ilford + Octoink) using the SpyderPrint SR system and yes it does work fine, although I did find the Turboprint Ink limit test is harder to evaluate than some others. Still, again thanks for the info and everything seems to be working fine here so one up for Linux (Mint) and Turboprint.
