epson XP830

I am using 2.48-2 on Epson XP830, It appears that the printer does not use photo black. I observed that the photo cartridge is always full.

regular black is used on plain paper, on all other media (matte coated inkjet, glossy photo paper, ...) ink from the "photo black" cartridge is used.
The usage of the two black ink cartridge is the same with TurboPrint and the original Epson drivers .
