No multiple pages with Canon Pixma 4300

Postby kneops » Sat Sep 10, 2011 9:02 am

I'm using version 2.17 of Turboprint for almost a year now. Most of the time I only print single pages, but I now noticed that when I want to print multiple pages, set the count above 1, it still only prints one page. I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 and it happens with all the programs, like Inkscape, LibreOffice, Gimp, Document Viewer etc. The built in driver by Ubuntu doesn't have this problem and print multiple pages perfectly.

Hello,

this sounds like a problem that was fixed in TurboPrint 2.17-2 ("copies not printed under Ubuntu"):

Please try the current version TurboPrint 2.21.

Yes, you are right. The newer version of TurboPrint fixed this :)
Another thing though... the setting greyscale fast isn't printing fast but just as fast/slow as the normal greyscale setting. It just seems to use a little less ink.

Yes, the "fast" mode uses the same printer speed, just the processing in the driver is quicker. Printing speed will be the same in most cases (except for laser printers).
