Embeded Color Spaces

Hello,

Let say I have a photo with an embeded space color (I use ProPhoto RGV). I have added this color space in Turboprint thanks to the menu Profiles>Color Spaces.

When I want to print this picture I must go to Configure>Color and select under Color Space the adequat Color Space of my photo ? Is that right ?

Turboprint don't recognize the embeded profile? (not a problem, I just want to be sure of what I am doing).

Thanks a lot,

Valery

This is correct - the color space must be selected in TurboPrint Control Center (or in the application's print dialog, if it offers printer settings - e.g. the TurboPrint print plugin for GIMP).

Currently no color profiles are included with print jobs, so there is no way to handle this automatically.

Ok, thanks, that is perfect. It's not a big deal to do that manually and usually photographers always have the same parameters.

Thanks for you quick answer (as usual).
