Hi,
I just installed TP on my Suse10.1 server. After checking if it works with my PIXMA 5300, I registered the program. It is exelent, money well spend

There is only two little problems:
1. if I try to check ink level I have to be logged in as root. Bit inconvinient
2. All my windows clients can't collect the printer status

Is there anything I can do to solve above?

thank you for the feedback!

1. will be solved by a status monitor daemon - we are working on it

2. no simple solution is known. It might be possible to set a status text string that is displayed in the Windows print queue window. I will think about it.
