using laser with CUPS and inkjet printers with TurboPrint

I have a Pixma IP1000 inkjet printer which works with TurboPrint and want to use a LBP 3000 laser printer for which TurboPrint doesn't seem to have adriver. I have loaded a CAPT driver but only the TuboPrint printer shows up inthe print menu. Does anyone have any ideas please ?

Hello Dick Paddock,
TurboPrint currently does not support laser printers which are only capable of the CAPT printer language. I.e. you need a separate driver for it. Of course we cannot give any technical support for third party drivers, please contact the developers of the mentioned CAPT driver.
