canon ip4300 cd printing

Mint 11 (Ubuntu 11.04) amd64
Turboprint demo version
Everything is working perfectly, but CD printing.
I'm trying from Inkscape and Evince.
The alignment is totally wrong (several cm. both horiz. and vert.)
More, it seems the hub of a full-printable cd is not managed.
I can't find the X/Y adjustment cited in other answers on the forum.
Am I missing something?

Hello Claudio,
to adjust the CD printing alignment and print area, define a new CD "format" in the "Sizes" dialog of TurboPrint Control (where new paper formats are defined). To use your selected parameters, choose this new CD format when printing.

Hi,
I just use glabels. It works absolutely fine (ip4500 but it's essentially the same printer). Glabels is as easy as the windows Canon software. Combine that with a color profile for my blank DVDs that I bought from zedo and it does not get much better.

I forgot to mention.. the CD tray on the canon will operate ONLY if you select "CD" or "A4" as paper size. My template assumes A4 size is selected

I think the parameter you set is not correct, and select the correct paper size to print....
