Hello,
I have a i9950 connected via USB to a Linux Mint 15 PC1 Canon printer.
With TurboPrint 2, everything works perfectly. It is shared and another PC2 Linux Mint 15 via TurboPrint 2, I want to print through the network.
I add the printer via the network on PC2 and I run the test page, but the spooler tells me the page is 99% and no page is printed.
For information, sharing is ensured by Samba.
Thank you for your help because I will wish to transform the test command, but only if it works.
Best regards.
Problem of network printing
Re: Problem of network printing
Hello,
if both computers are Linux PCs, I recommend to use IPP network printing protocol instead of SAMBA when setting up the printer on the client:
Open TurboPrint Control, press "Edit" and select "Linux network printer (IPP)". Enter the server name in the field "Server" and enter "printers/<printername>" in the field "Printer" where <printername> is the name of the printer as shown in TurboPrint Control Center on the server.

Hello,
Thank you for your return. I tried this setting without success.
so I made other tests and installing the Canon printer via the CUPS box and not TurboPrint but still choosing the driver Turboprint, everything works perfectly.
thank you and best regards.
