im very new to ubuntu so please be gentle

When i click on check ink quantity i get a box pop up saying "no access to printer port use root login to get ink status"

How do i do that in ubuntu 7.10

Ink status should work if the printer is directly connected to the USB port.

Start TurboPrint Config from command line (application "Terminal) by entering:

sudo xtpconfig

(by adding "sudo" it will be run as "root" user)
