Hi,
I'm using Kbuntu 16.10 and I'm able to set up my printer, but after a computer restart the settings are gone, and I have to set it up again.
Any ideas why this is happening? (Have been using TurboPrint for years on Fedora and never had this issue)
Thanks.

Re: Printers not being saved Kbuntu 16.10
Hello,
can you please check
- which version of TurboPrint are you using (TurboPrint Control -> "About / License")?
- when you set up the printer in TurboPrint Control and exit and start TurboPrint Control again, is the printer still visible?
- after a reboot, is the printer gone both in TurboPrint Control and also in the Ubuntu settings "Printers" or only in one of them?

Hi,
Version 2.42-1
Seems to lose the settings after a reboot, although this is not consistent.
The ubuntu printer settings were blank as well, but as I hadn't set that up specifically, it may have always been like that. Will let you know the next time it fails.

Ok, can confirm the settings are saved in the native printer settings, but being lost in Turboprint. They're gone again when I started the machine.
Re: Printers not being saved Kbuntu 16.10
I'll send you a debug version of TurboPrint Control by email to investigate why the printer is getting lost.

I sent the info as requested. Did it assist in finding out what the problem is?
