Hello!
I'm running Fedora 9.
I try to install Turboprint 2 beta6, and after choosing the language, the metric system, I click install, and the installation blocks. It use 100% CPU, and nothing else happen.

I tryed several time, with beta 2 and 4 and finally 6.

How come? Do you have any idea of a workaround?

I tryed the install on the latest ubuntu, with the same computer, and it worked flawlessly !

Thanks

Hi splitsch,

I do not know what causes these problems on your fedora system. Maybe there is any inkompatibility with the new authorization mechanism.
Could you please try to start the installation program with administrator rights, e.g. with "sudo ./setup" from a shell?

Hello !

I'm sorry, I can't, since I came back to ubuntu !

Thanks anyway :)

I have a question, though: if I purchase a personnal key tomorrow, will I be able to use it with turboprint 2 once it will be out ?

Thanks

Please excuse the delay.
Yes, a TurboPrint 1.x key that is purchased now will also be valid for TurboPrint 2.

I will try to reproduce the problem on Fedora 9.
