Hi,
I have a Canon i550 and would like to get it working under Linux. Under windows I am able to set the preferences to duplex printing, even though the printer does not have a duplex unit. It then just prints every other page and when done a dialog pops up, instructing me how to turn the paper back into the printer to print the remaining pages.
Is that possible with TurboPrint as well?
I read in the manual that there is a duplex setting, but it said that it is only for printers that support it. I assumed that means having a duplex unit?
If duplex printing works for the i550, I would like to share the printer over a print server. What print server protocol would I need to use, to be able to have that duplex print feature?
Thanks for the help.

i550, does duplex printing work? ... with print server?
Hello,
currently only the automatic duplexer unit is supported. Manual duplexing is planned for a future TurboPrint version. This will be possible with locally connected printers and network printers.
A solution for now would be to print odd pages first, then even pages (possible e.g. with OpenOffice).
