Hello,
I upgraded to 2.06 on Debain Etch, using the .tgz package.I work under KDE.
All works fine, except that I can't get the settings panel fron the monitor panel (nothing happens).
Running turboprint from the command line is more informative: after a bunch of messages like
** (turboprint:3685): WARNING **: Widget not found: TPconfig_win
(various widgets)
(turboprint:3685): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set label from markup due to error parsing markup: Error on line 1 char 9: Invalid UTF-8 encoded text
(4 messages)
(turboprint:3685): Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text()
(5 messages)
the prograam segfaults.
Any clue ?
TIA

Hello jpchretien,
it sounds like in your TurboPrint installation some files have not been installed but instead some old TurboPrint 1 files are still present.
Please uninstall TurboPrint 2, then check if the directory /usr/share/turboprint is removed. If not, you could remove it manually.
Then reinstall TurboPrint 2. Hope everything works fine then.

Hello,
Thanks for your help, it works fine now.
AFAIR, I upgraded as plain user instead of root.
Maybe ./setup.sh could include a warning ?
