uninstall from ubuntu

I'm a newbie with ubuntu and couldn't get my network printer to work. I'd like to uninstall turboprint for now and have someone help me later, but I can't find it in the uninstall programs list.

Hello,
if you installed the .tgz archive, please execute the "uninstall" script in the archive, e.g.
cd turboprint-1.94-4
sudo ./uninstall
If you installed the .deb, please use
sudo apt-get uninstall turboprint
