Sepia-toned grayscale
Am running OpenSuSE 11.0, KDE 3.59, KDEPrint; have Epson Stylus Pro 4800. Am using Turboprint Studio 2.10-1 expired demo version. When printing a photo grayscale, the print has a rather sepia-toned color rather than the rich black tones I'm used to in Windows. Any suggestions?
Hello,
for black & white photos, set "Color Mode"="Gray Photo" in TurboPrint Control Center, tab "Color".
Blacks should be neutral if the paper type that is selected in TurboPrint Control Center (or in the application if a "paper" or "media" setting is available in the application's print dialog) matches the paper that is actually used.
Which paper & paper setting did you use?
You can also post the log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log (only section of the last print) so that I can check if the internal settings of the driver are correct.
