Different results printing from Scribus or exported PDF
Different results printing from Scribus or exported PDF
I have an Epson 1430 and am running Ubuntu 18.04 x64. I noticed that if I create a letter sized document (found this to be true first with Scribus but is true with LO Writer as well) and print from the application I used to create the document, the results is as expected. However, if I export the document to PDF, then the output is skewed so that the top of the document is at the very edge of the paper and everything is moved up accordingly. Is this a known problem, am I doing something wrong, or what? BTW, I am using the Turboprint driver of course.

Hello,
such a problem has not been reported yet.
If the page is actually "skewed" (e.g. a bit rotated) an explanation may be that draft printing mode is active and paper loading is quick and inaccurate. You may notice a different noise and speed during paper feed.

Re: Different results printing from Scribus or exported PDF
i used the wrong word to describe the issue. The page for the PDF document prints with no top margin even though the space is there in the PDF document.. As I said in the previous post, the top margin is correct for printing the document fron both Scribus and LO Writer.
