Still no luck. Think I need to call i quits and use driverless, even if I would have liked the possibility to use paper profiles.

You are probably very close to the solution. If the printer is offered with "TP-USB" in the connection list and installed with "tpu://..:" as URI (in TurboPrint Control), driverless has been disabled effectively. Please make sure that you have also removed the previous TurboPrint driver with the "ipp://.." URI, otherwise you might by accident use the wrong printing queue in your application (print dialog). It is important to choose the correct printer when printing (the one with the "tpu://.." URI).
