Hi everyone,
This is my first post, I've just upgraded GIMP from 20.10.18 to 20.10.30. I did this through the snap store. However I did not uninstall the old version first for fear of losing Turboprint. Instead I just Installed version 20.10.30 from the snap store and now have two versions of GIMP.
How do I get Turboprint to run on the upgraded version of GIMP... have I got to uninstall the old version first?
Thanks very much for any help
Upgrading GIMP and Installation
Re: Upgrading GIMP and Installation
Hello,
currently the TurboPrint GIMP print plugin only works with a regular installation of GIMP (.tgz .deb .rpm or compile &install from source), not with a SNAP package. This is because SNAP isolates the application from the rest of the operating system, so GIMP doesn't find the TurboPrint plugin if GIMP was installed in a SNAP package.

Re: Upgrading GIMP and Installation
I removed the version from snap store
I have just installed from source version 2.10.34 manually as per instructions (flatpak didn't work). I'm facing the same problem, as I have the old version of Gimp with Turboprint running and Gimp version 2.10.34 without?
Thanks for any help
