Hi

I have had truboprint for a while and it did work ok. I am using it on my remote Ubuntu 6.10 and my local Ubuntu 6.04 machine. I needed to print a pdf and did not have libpdf installed on my local machine I did this from my synaptic manager. I then used gnome manager to install a new pdf printer, this does not seem to have worked but also all my printers on this local machine now don't work. They also don't work on my remote machine. I tried deleting the printer and reinstalling from my turboprint xtpsetup and evan though this looked like it had installed ok and showed on gnome printer manager, it would not print any file. infact when I use the testprint from xtpsetup It does not show that a job has started. So I have 2 problems, how do I get it to print and how do I print a pdf. I am kind of lost know and don't know what else I should do

Hello,

no general problem is known - you could post portions of the log files

/var/log/turboprint_cups.log
/var/log/cups/error_log

after trying to print.

About printing PDF documents - you can also download Adobe's acrobat reader.
