I was wondering if amyone could help me. I am a registered user of turboprint 7.5 for the amiga, and I was wondering if there is an existing driver that can be used to emulate the 9000 pro mrkII. I know first hand that the hp officejet 8500 pro will work with the photosmart 7500 printer driver, and I was wondering if something similar would occur with a canon driver.
Thanking abyone in advance

Re: cannon pixima 9000 pro and the amiga
Hello,
unfortunately there is no such "backward compatibility" with recent Canon printers. You could try one of the "Canon_i..." drivers (e.g. Canon_i550 or Canon_i950) but you won't get any output better than "draft" mode - or possibly no output at all.

Is it hard to program a driver for turboprint? I am not the program savy, but it may be a good prject for me to try.
What dev tools are there? Is there any docs that could help with development?
Thanks for your reply.
