Turbo print says that my printer is not connected when it is. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

please post some additional information:

- your Linux distribution & version
- your TurboPrint version
- which printer do you use?
- how is your printer connected (e.g. direct USB connection)
- the printer connection address "URI" as visible in TurboPrint Control, list of printers, column "URI"
- can you print a test page from TurboPrint Control -> dialog "Toolbox"?

As you have set "/dev/lp0" as connection, which points to the parallel port, the message "printer not connected" (at parallel port) is correct. Probably it does not print either. You should correct the printer connection to a USB connection - this can be done with TurboPrint Control. Enter the "Edit" dialog, then choose a connection with your printer name included, at best the one with "(TP-USB)" as suffix.

I am getting another error: No connection to turboprint daemon.

Thank you for your help.

It prints just fine, but I am getting no connection error and now I am getting the daemon error. Should I try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it. If so where do I find the program to remove it? It's not listed in the installed software list.
