Re: Canon Pixma ip6220D
I waited for that email , sent in the result, but then gave up and let the years pass by. Now I've installed the newest version 2.53 (for amd64-bit upgrade), and am trying again to make this work. Of course now it wants a newer registration key, and the ink levels still only show 3 of the 6 tanks. S...

Re: Canon Pixma ip6220D
No not the consumption levels, they have always (relative to the most recent years) worked well. I'll take a screenshot of the problem, after installing 2.40 it shows no change, only showing 3 levels in two of the three places it can show them. I'll include both locations in the screenshot. http://w...

Canon Pixma ip6220D
I have turboprint_2.18-1_i386.deb installed for my Canon Pixma iP6220D, problem is the ink counters only show 3 of the 6 ink indicators.
Is this a known issue? Have there been any printer driver updates to fix this?

Upon testing further, I find the problem is on line# 61 of /etc/init.d/tpdaemon (and the other similar lines...) where the command su -s is given. The version of su I have is 2005 on one machine, and 1999 on this machine. These older versions of su do not understand -s so it passes it on to bash, wh...

Yes and no. It helps halfway, as the printer reset and form feed bug has not re-occurred. But, turboprint-2.15-1.i586.tgz did not fix the discontinuity in the displayed dpi settings. When printing from Gimp, File-->TurboPrint shows Print Quality: 2 - 600 dpi but when I press the button: Output Confi...

I changed to usb://Canon/iP6220D as instructed. It still opens TP Monitor, as I believe I have a setting somewhere to do so? Asks if I should print the page when preview is checked, and does update status as it prints. If I print the same file, with the same settings, then it is always in the same p...

prints partial page, then spits out paper as if reset feed
I have tp 2.06-1 printing to Canon Pixma iP6220D When printing large jobs, 4900 dpi it only prints between 1/4 inch and 2 inches, then spits out the paper and pulls in another one to keep printing. I have checked the spool and cups directories for adequate space. 1200 and 9600 dpi are usually ok, bu...

My HP Deskjet on lp0 is no longer loading the module automatically, parport_pc even though I have entries in my modprobe.conf and modules.conf for: alias lp parport_pc The printer does work after I sudo modprobe parport_pc But turboprint _still_ says Printer not connected or switched off. Turboprint version 2 expires as 2009 begins, before 30 days
I just upgraded from a Paid version 1 to version 2 in the last week of December and finally got it working 5 days ago. Now I can not print because it expired, before 30 days are up. Should I uninstall and go back to version 1 or will this get fixed quickly? I am not done Evaluating this upgrade yet,...

The last of the issues I initially reported, the plugin for gimp, I have solved. It was not installed, and install.log does not mention it. So I'll shrug and copy gpturboprint manually. :? I am very excited about print preview and ink level counting. :D Here is another 2 questions: 4. How can I adju...

Upgraded version 2, can not print. Unknown device: cups
Just upgraded from 1.94 and have had several things not work smoothly: 1. After rebooting, tpdaemon did not start, so I added it manually to /etc/rc.d/rc.M I'll assume my distribution format was not automatically detected. 2. Checking Preview Jobs never shows anything in turboprint monitor. 3. Ink c...
