Would changing permissions on any of the Turboprint binaries perhaps also eliminate the problem? Just wondering.

TP Control hangs in Ubuntu Bionic

I've just purchased a Canon pixma 100S and attempted to install Turboprint drivers on my multiboot system (Windows, Ubuntu, OpenSuse). The Windows and Suse Leap (running the .rpm version of TP 2.44) installations worked flawlessly after deleting my old Epson drivers, so there are no hardware issues....

Yes, 2.08 works much better -und viele dank fur seinem hilfe - but it's the only driver that I've ever used that prints in landscape mode with the top of the page to the right. I thought that the convention was with the top to the left, so that the left margin of the page enters the printer first.

I have exactly the same problem with my Canon i6500. Initially, I was quite pleased with Turboprint, until I tried printing an envelope, which needs to be done in landscape mode, with the envelope inserted short edge first, and with the left margin at the bottom (end that first enters the printer) a...
