Using SLED (Suse Linux Enterprise Edition) and Turboprint 2.35-2.

The Epson will print colour, but no blacks from the larger black cartridge.

The Epson prints blacks from Windows 7.

A test print page from Turboprint with Grayscale selected yields a blank page, with RGB Colour selected, it give ...

I think I have found the problem, Open Office thought the paper was Letter, Turboprint thought it was A4. If I make them all A4, it seems to work.

It's not as forgiving under Linux as it is under Windows.

When I try and operate the Duplex unit, the first page prints and then instead of sucking it back into the duplex unit ofr the next page, the printer displays "paper jam".

The duplex unit works perfectly under Windows which leads me to believe the problem under Linux is a Turboprint ...

I have managed to get it working. With F-Photo, Eye of Gnome and other such products, they don't talk correctly to Turboprint, and therefore don't pick up the right paper sizes.

Under GIMP however, there is a Turboprint print option, and apart from not having an option to select the tray, it works ...

Have SLED11 and Epson TX700W printing fine with A4 printing.

If I select a photo to print, and 6*4 borderless, Epson Glossy paper etc, the print print on the 6*4 paper, but is scaled down to only about 2*1.5. I can't move the scaling slide bar any further to the right in Eye of Gnome, or Gimp to ...

I have managed to get the printer printing.

I uninstalled Cups, Foomatic, Pipslite, Turboprint, Evince, Gutenprint and Ghostscript.

I installed Ghostscript 8.15 (an earlier version), Cups and Foomatic.

The unit printed using Gutenprint 5.23 driver, and also with Pipslite 1.3 driver.

Sorry for the delay in replying - I was away all weekend doing a large Novell network installation.

If I do a Nozzle check, the blue light flashes, it says it will print a page, but nothing happens.

If I do an alignment, it will print the alignment page. Test print, like nozzle check, also does ...

Hi - it's fairly long, but there might be some pertinent information in it.

It is setup as a network ip printer (192.168.0.6:9100), but yields the same problem if setup as USB.

Turboprint does report back the correct ink levels etc.
