For the XP-65 printer the TurboPrint print quality levels for plain paper are actually "180dpi", "360dpi" and "1440dpi". However, the "1440dpi" mode should have about the print speed of the Gutenprint driver's 720dpi.

the Linux beta is now officially available as an option on the normal download page. The package is still called TurboPrint 2.90-beta.

PrintFab for Mac is a universal binary, correct.

Regarding the question where to download the beta version:
TurboPrint 2.9 beta (will be released as V3 when final) is now offered as an alternative on the standard download page where also the current version 2 can be downloaded.
