I may well still have the tarball or can find it elsewhere if you would so kind as to tell me what version of the software my licence applies to! I recall that you changed the keyfiles at some stage during 1.x so I need to know upto what release I can use that with. I'm not asking for tech support, ...

thanks for the reply. I did not have any library issues and the software was working just before I installed the v2 demo. So that is not the problem here. I do not need detailed tech support at this stage since the software was working but I do not expect to find myself unable to use what I payed yo...

can't revert to v 1.8 after v2 demo

Hi, I read before installing the demo that I could go back to earlier version by uninstalling the demo. The uninstall seemed to go cleanly but I cant get my printers to work again on v1.8 I was able to enter my turboprint.tpkey file and it shows like it is registered. I have licence 100060506182309 ...

gimp plugin, minor bugs

firstly thanks for the gimp plugin. gutenprint is a well-designed interface but does not support my printer. I am very pleased to have the same interface in TP. However, a couple of minor bugs to report. 1/ There seems to be an inconsistency between what the tp-monitor and the plug-in display for re...

Thanks for the reply.

I just ran it up again and those two inks are now showing full. I don't know what the mechanism of these prisms is but it looks like it takes some time for the new cartridge to settle in.

Good to see TP is working correctly.

best regards

i965 ink levels wrong [SOLVED: not TP]

Hi,

I'm testing TP 2 with the new ink support for i965.

I have just replaced magenta and cyan with new genuine ink. Turboprint-monitor shows 100% for M but only 40% for C !!

Do you have any idea why the ink level is not showing correctly on the new cartridge?

Thanks.

cups not cancelling jobs

since several programs like mousepad and gimp can lock up a TP driven printer by sending incorrect data it essential to have a means to kill these broken jobs that just keep spewing inappropriate data at the driver. I find the CUPS web admin makes a fairly bad job of this. It claims to have cancelle...

just had mousepad locking up my printer in a similar way to gimp does.

solution: in the print dialog select "force binary printing".

hey, thanks for the forum, I've been banging my head against this for 2 days. dumb-assed gimp-2.2 keeps adding -o raw everytime I look at the printer setup and a hint pops up telling me not to remove it !! If that happens all the time you probably need to add a waring to the install instructions. 8)
