No, Bonjour works fine. There are only Problems with the Cupsdrivers (Gutenprint and PrintFab) on the HP Socket Protocoll. The LPD protocoll doesn't work at all with the Canon iP4000.

On AirportExpress,our Canon Printer works on the HPJetdirect-Socket Protocol, but only to 99%, then there is a stop for three or four minutes. After this time the printjob will finish.
Maybe this protocol works for you.

Hello, thanks for your reply. But: The iMac is wired to the router, which is wired to the Airport Express. There is no wireless connection between iMac and Airport Express. Our Canon iP4000 (hangs on an airportexpress per USB) stops during printing, when using PrintFab on Leopard. The printjob finishes after about three or four minutes.

Any hints?
