I dont have the black catridge. However I tried to change the papertype to inkjet paper and it still was not working. Now however the align catridge is also not working.

I think you have to post a feedback on this site itself to let the developers know of the bug. Good effort that these guys are doing. Hope they fix the issue

I seem to have the same problem with Canon pixma iP1200 on Ubuntu 6.10. The printer seems to get data as is indicated by the flashing light but then it feeds in the paper and feeds it out very fast without printing anything. I have no idea why it is happening
Anybody knows?

On Ubuntu 6.10 with CUPS installed I tried with iP2200 on 1.94 but printer light flashes as if receiving data but doesnt print anything. The job gets removed from queue. Now i installed 1.95. Light flashes, draws in the paper and puts it out immediately without printing anything and job gets removed...
