what about using USB CAT 5e Extender Adapters ?
Would using USB CAT 5e Extender Adapters do the trick over ethernet cabling? It would look like a local usb printer to the print server, but could be in a remote location. canon is non-standard
well, I was beginning to think that. Will there ever be a turboprint driver for this printer? If I could get one linux box to print to this via usb, then maybe I could do this for a linux network with cups.

I have it now on a vista box, but I really hope to put it on my Clarkconnect server with a long cat 5 /ethernet extension cable! Canon Pixma MX850
Hello,
Bought an MX 850 for a linux-only network. Tried most all other Canon drivers without luck. Will this printer be supported in the future with a turboprint driver?
