KWord has the standard KDE print dialog. If a TurboPrint printer was set up (using sudo xtpsetup), it should be visible in the print dialog as printer "tp0".

The LED blinks if the printer receives data that are not printer command codes.

You could send the last section of the file /var/log/turboprint_cups.log, i.e. the part between "new print job" and "end of print job".

Hello,

Installation of TurboPrint is not complete (for an unknown reason). Please check if the directory "/var/log/turboprint" and subdirectories "lib", "printers", "colors" etc. exist and are readable for everyone. You can also repeat installation using the TurboPrint .tgz archive.

You can start these programs also from command line:

xtpsetup

for TurboPrint Setup (adding new printers; root login required) and

xtpconfig

for TurboPrint Config (changing printer driver default settings, e.g. print quality, paper size & type, ...).

TurboPrint is a printer driver, scanner and fax are not supported. No solution is known for the fax, the scanner might work with a SANE driver - see

There is an error from ghostscript ERROR: /undefined in sudo "sudo" is not a postscript command - it looks like if your installation of the CUPS printing system is messed up and doesn't convert print jobs to postscript. If you printed from an application that can also save the print job to a file (e.g. OpenOffice, Firefox) you can save the print job and run g...
