Re: Problem printing 5x7 pictures

Good to hear that :D .
Maybe this is something that could be helpful for other customers - what was the reason for the "jam"?

The manual contained an older screenshot + description for Photoshop, an updated version of the manual is now on our website and also in the current download package.

Re: Problem printing 5x7 pictures

Hello, please excuse the late answer. Of course the printer and also the TurboPrint driver should support printing on 5x7" paper. Does the printer jam if you select 5x7" borderless in the TurboPrint driver settings and feed correctly if you insert the same 5x7" sheet but select "A4" in the driver? Y...

Re: Printer not listed

Hello, the list of TurboPrint drivers for Brother printers is not very long, so this may already be the full ist. Unfortunately TurboPrint does not support the printer model Brother MFC-J491DW - the problem is that we can't get technical information from Brother for their inkjet printers and multifu...

Re: Super saturated colors

If you want PrintFab to manage colors, you must disable color management in Photoshop. Adobe has removed the option "No Color Management", but you can do the same by selecting - Color Handling = "Photoshop manages colors" - Printer Profile = <Document Profile> (e.g. sRGB) Photoshop will complain ("N...

Re: Does TurboPrint work on Chromebooks?

Hello,

TurboPrint doesn't run on ChromeOS and there are no plans to support ChromeOS in the near future as there have been no customer requests so far.

Hello,

c) colors don't align

and please send a photo of the document (screen) and of the print (paper).

You can also answer in your language and I will try to translate with google translate.

Re: Intens Black

Hello, a special print mode for transparencies (e.g. for silkscreen printing) that allows to select higher ink amounts and also has the option use several ink channels simultaneously has just been added in the current PrintFab version. This mode is only available in "PrintFab Pro XL" (if you are usi...

Re: ICC profile

Hello lajoiephoto, PrintFab "Home L" and PrintFab "Pro" can also read and work with standard ICC profiles. However, the profiles should be added in the PrintFab color management to a new profile entry (will be offered as "paper" in the print dialog later) with PrintFab Toolbox. Profiles in the color...

Re: DPI adjustment for printing positive films

Hello, PrintFab can create halftones, but only in the version "PrintFab Pro XL" (if you are using PrintFab in the 30 day trial version, please install as "PrintFab Pro XL"). The options can be found in the PrintFab driver settings, tab "Options", section "Special Settings Screen Printing". Set "Half...

Re: Super saturated colors

Hello, I include a short description of the profiling workflow - please check if you followed these steps. A common error is to enable the color profile in the application (Lightroom / Photoshop) and in PrintFab - see point 1) and 2) of the description below for details. ------ Creating ICC profiles...

Re: Canon Pro-100 - No output

Hi zoftware, as already mentioned in my email, probably the selected network protocol ("dnssd") is not compatible with the Canon printer. Some Canon printers only accept the Canon specific network protocol "BJNP" - so you should try if you can change the connection to this backend protocol. Currentl...

Re: Printfab crashes in Paper Editor

Hi, thank you for your error report! You are probably using V1.09 of PrintFab. There is a known problem with the page sizes editor - it is already fixed in V1.09a. You can just download and install it - you should not uninstall the previous version to keep your printer setup. Hope this also fixes yo...

Re: Line skip issue with Epson 3880 printfab .9 windows 8

Hello, the "line skip issue" is not actually an issue of our printer drivers so it cannot be easily solved by us. There is an interference between the application Lightroom and the Postscript interpreter "Ghostscript: Lightroom creates a print job that splits the image in multiple parts. Ghostscript...

Re: Canon Selphy printers

Hello,

Selphy printers require a completely different data protocol in wireless mode which makes driver development complicated.
A Selphy driver that supports wireless printing is planned, but this can take some time.
