Re: Not support my printer Epson Stylus Photo 1390

Hello,

I think the Epson Stylus Photo 1390 is an international version of the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer, so please select the driver "Epson Stylus Photo 1400" in PrintFab when setting up your printer.

Re: Konica Minolta C364e Driver

Hello, the Konica Minolta C364e printer is not directly supported by our software TurboPrint. However, many laser printers can be used with compatible TurboPrint drivers if they support "PCL" printer command language. The Konica Minolta C364e supports PCL5 and PCL6, so the following compatible Turbo...

Re: Canon Pixma TR8550 - Page feed issue

Hello, thank you for the problem report. Two questions: 1. Is the page content shifted to the page top or to the page bottom on the second printed page? 2. Can you please open TurboPrint Monitor, check the "Preview Jobs" option and check if the pages are also shifted in the preview windows or if the...

Re: CMY only (No K) on OfficeJet Pro printers

Hello, the HP printers you mentioned (OfficedJet Pro 7740 and OfficeJet Pro 8100) can be controlled by the PrintFab drivers only in RGB mode, this is the reason why a "CMY" ink consumption is shown the PrintFab ink consumption display and no "UCR" setting is available. The HP OfficeJet's printer fir...

Re: How to print black without LK and LLK?

The setting works for your Epson SureColor SC-P600 printer. This will minimize all light inks, it is currently not possible to exclude LK/LLK and use LC & LM.

Re: Not getting dark films for Canon Pixma ix6820

Hello, the following PrintFab settings should be made for screen printing: printfab-ix6800-screenprinting-1.PNG printfab-ix6800-screenprinting-2.PNG The "Special settings screen printings" are only available in the version PrintFab Pro XL. If this option is missing in your trial version, I can send ...

Re: How to print black without LK and LLK?

Hello,

yes, this should be possible but depends on the printer - which one do you have?

For Epson Stylus Pro & SureColor you can move the slider "Photo Inks" to "min" (printing preferences, tab "Ink Ctrl").

Re: MG71500 - on Linux Network

You can either copy the PPD file to

/library/printers/ppds/contents/resources

or you can put it anywhere (e.g. in Documents) and load the PPD file directly from macOS System Preferences -> Printers & Scanners -> "+" -> "IP"

Re: MG71500 - on Linux Network

Hello,

I recommend to install via macOS System Settings with the connection

ipp://servername/printers/Canon_MG7100_series

I found that you need a modified PPD file which I attach (we will change the PrintFab PPD files in the next release).

Re: Printing without application

Hello, PrintFab currently works only as a printer driver. You can use any application to print, e.g. PhotoShop, Lightroom or also IrfanView. The IrfanView print dialog doesn't offer color management, this no real problem because the PrintFab driver offers all relevant color management settings. We a...

Re: Profiling under ProPhoto RGB

Hello, the TIFF profile target chart must be printed without color management in order to use the printer's available maximum color space (also called the printer's "DeviceRGB"). Selecting "ProPhoto" will not enlarge this device color space. You can use "Adobe Color Printer Utility", a utility app f...

Re: Serious Problems with the Network Installation

Hello and sorry for not getting back to you earlier. The following setup is the right one: - printer/server: "192.168.0.1" - printer queue: "pro9500" If you have trouble setting up the windows printer sharing connection, you can alternatively use LPD. First you have to add the LPD Print Service opti...

Re: New mono profile problem

Hello, you have received two profiles from us, a regular color profile and a "gray profile". Can you make a comparison print of a b&w test page (e.g. Northlight) with the color profile with the same settings ("Colormode" = "Gray Photo"). If the color cast is reduced when printing with the color prof...

Re: Brother MFC-J6520DW

Hello,

we are sorry that no progress has been made in supporting Brother inkjet printers.

The problem is that we cannot get technical information from Brother for these devices, so no support for Brother inkjet printers & multifunction devices is to be expected :(
